Purpose:
The Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA) Program at York University is a world-leading program that offers a unique combination of courses preparing students for successful careers in business, law, and related fields. The Assistant Director role oversees strategic planning and day-to-day operations, fostering a strong JD/MBA community through recruitment strategies, academic and career advice, and alumni engagement. The role promotes the program through marketing and partnerships, and supports the Osgoode Career Development Office with career counseling and bar admissions guidance.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Provide specialized academic and career advice to students
Foster long-term relationships with graduates and manage alumni engagement programs
Promote the JD/MBA program through marketing and partnerships
Support the Osgoode Career Development Office with career counseling and bar admissions guidance

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Juris Doctor (JD) and call to the bar
Extensive knowledge of the legal profession and career development principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change
