Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class 3A driver to join our team as a Warehouse and Delivery Operations Coordinator. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products within our central distribution warehouse and for local delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 3A vehicle and navigate through various routes to deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Manage the warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to safety, transportation, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, dates, and times.
  • Participate in regular safety audits and quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to achieve operational efficiency and productivity goals.

Requirements

  • Current Class 3A license and a clean driving record.
  • TDG and WHMIS endorsement or ability to obtain them.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product delivery and distribution to a customer base.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Proven track record of managing direct-to-customer deliveries (Final Mile).
  • Knowledge of safety and legal documentation processes for handling related driver and warehouse activities (MSDS, Equipment Checklist, BOL).
  • Excellent leadership and administration skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, resolve crises, and make decisions.
  • Ability to coordinate work with internal and external workers of the company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified or ability to be certified on equipment (forklift, etc).
  • Working understanding of WMS system.
  • Acceptable incident history.
  • Class 1A license.
  • Compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ability to safely handle equipment used to physically move inventory.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
