Food Service Team Lead

Island Burgers Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
