Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan Langford. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with key performance indicators and insights to inform business decisions.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.
