Project Controls Manager

Aecon Concessions is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our Urban Transportation Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure data integrity across the project life cycle.
- Forecast resource requirements, including labor, materials, and equipment, based on work front analysis.
- Prepare progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to internal and external clients.
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management plans to measure project performance and identify variances.
- Manage schedule change notices and forecast project impact, implementing corrective action when necessary.
- Perform audits on schedules, including those produced by subcontractors, and prepare required output documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain, add, or modify schedule data and plans.
- Oversee and support schedule 5D integration with 3D models and cost reporting.
- Provide commercial and technical expertise to support proposal development and contractually defined project control requirements.
- Ensure adherence to contract conditions regarding Project Controls requirements, project set-up, monitoring, and close-out.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of rail transit industry experience.
- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and managing complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
- Ability to lead project planning and scheduling staff.
- Expert-level knowledge of project planning and scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and TILOS.
