About the Role

Rams Hospitality Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that inventory and supplies are managed effectively to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is provided to meet customer demand and that staff are able to take breaks and rest periods as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
