About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Training Manager to lead our training and career development initiatives at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful training programs, providing personalized career coaching to our employees, and ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Create engaging training materials, including manuals and presentations.
  • Lead interactive workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives using feedback and performance metrics.

Employee Development

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify high-potential employees and craft individualized development plans.
  • Promote and facilitate a culture of continuous learning and career advancement.
  • Organize mentorship programs and encourage peer-to-peer development.

Administrative and Organizational Support

  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, employee progress, and recruitment metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on training effectiveness and employee development outcomes.
  • Manage the training and development budget and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in landscape installation and management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team.
  • Adaptable, with a strong capacity for change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Empathetic and approachable, with a genuine passion for helping employees succeed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in coaching or related areas.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with Learning Management Systems.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $60,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience.
