Job Title: Landscape Construction Project ManagerJob Summary:

As a seasoned landscape construction project manager at Earthscape Ontario, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of high-end residential landscaping projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, monitor, and close out landscape construction projects while providing organization, management, and logistical support to crews.
  • Coordinate crews and subcontractor scheduling, monitor project schedule and budget, and supervise day-to-day work activities of landscape construction crews.
  • Plan labour requirements, equipment requirements, and material deliveries and timing to ensure project completion within deadlines.
  • Maintain and enforce standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas.
Requirements:
  • More than 5 years of construction and/or landscaping experience.
  • 5+ years of experience across a broad range of landscaping construction site work, including paver and step installation, concrete, masonry, site layout, and site grading.
  • Knowledge of plant ID and proper planting bed and plant installation.
  • Ability to coach and train crew leaders to install landscapes to the highest standards.
  • Thrives in a busy work environment, respects project timelines, and has 2+ years of experience in landscape or construction project management.
  • Experience reading and interpreting scaled drawings, demonstrates leadership by example, and the ability to engage others in the accomplishment of tasks in an efficient and organized way.
  • Great problem-solving skills, recognizes the importance of building to high-quality standards, and wants to be proud of their employer and work for a highly regarded industry-recognized leader.
  • Communicates effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients, and has a minimum G class license.
