We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at AnyDay Plumbing & Renos. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for building projects, using measuring tools and software
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and safety procedures
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years or more of experience in the trade
