About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at AnyDay Plumbing & Renos.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and renovation, with a focus on building and installing structures made of wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and construct building layouts in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create a wide range of structures and fixtures.
  • Built foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Instructing and training apprentices in the art and science of carpentry.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial properties.
Requirements
  • Carpenter Trade Certification.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training.
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
  • Confined Space Entry Training.
