About the Role

As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction of our content and campaigns. Reporting to the AVP, Content Marketing, you will collaborate with our Canadian and US marketing teams to bring our stories and content to life, leveraging the Raymond James brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute creative assets in support of content, including design, graphics, video, and other forms of mixed media.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a deep understanding of business objectives, target audiences, and the marketing and content strategy.
  • Apply Raymond James brand standards to all design work, adapting as appropriate to the Canadian market or special requirements.
  • Draw on insights provided by marketing to create powerful visual assets that leverage audience insights and connect the audience to the RJL brand.
  • Adapt and customize design to address the requirements of different distribution channels, including our website, social, and other firm channels.
  • Contribute to a seamless user experience across all design products.
  • Work with marketing colleagues in the US to remain up to date on brand standards and how to apply them to our marketing products in Canada.
  • Consult with our advisor marketing design team to build scale and flexibility across the team.
  • As required, work with outside consulting firms to lead or direct design projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts/Graphic Design, Marketing, or other related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ~5+ years experience in creative direction, design and marketing communications.
  • ~ Detailed eye for colour, design, visual hierarchy, animation, accessibility, and typography.
  • ~ Agile problem solver with an ability to prioritize and appreciate feedback.
