Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team at Precision Castparts. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance management of our critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Develop and maintain database security controls to protect sensitive data.
  • Monitor and analyze database performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database operations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with database security, backups, and recovery.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification.
  • Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure, AWS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
