About the Role

RPA Saint-Nicolas 2 Château Bellevue, S.E.C. is seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor Patient Health: Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist with Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
  • Maintain Patient Rooms: Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide first aid in emergency situations and administer basic life support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Work Setting: Urban area, hospital or home for the aged
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, CPR Certificate
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, judgement, patience
