About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Specialist to join our R&D team at Umano Medical. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the development of innovative new products in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead product risk management activities, including failure mode risk and user risk analysis.
  • Integrate into project teams to propose a viable verification and validation strategy for product reliability.
  • Coordinate V&V testing with the testing laboratory and collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team for efficient production transfer.
  • Act as a leader in the approval of new products and participate in design reviews and customer investigations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in quality and product development.
  • Knowledge of IEC standards and Resna SS-1 (an asset).
  • Rigor and curiosity, with good communication skills in French and English.
