Our quality assurance team at Umano Medical is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead product risk management activities, including failure mode risk and user risk
  • Integrate into project teams to propose a viable verification and validation strategy for product reliability
  • Coordinate V&V testing with the testing laboratory
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team for efficient production transfer
  • Act as a leader in the approval of new products
  • Participate in design reviews and customer investigations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or other relevant field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in quality and product development
  • Knowledge of IEC standards, Resna SS-1 (an asset)
  • Rigor and curiosity
  • Good communication skills (French and English)
