About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our operations at Symposium Cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing objectives for the organization and formulating or approving policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Team Management
    • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to ensure a high-performing team.
    • Delegate authority and create optimum working conditions to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communication and Representation
    • Represent Symposium Cafe in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality management or business administration.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Work Arrangements
    • Permanent full-time position.
    • 30 hours per week.
