Regional Director of Operations

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled Regional Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our long-term care and retirement homes. Reporting to the Vice President of LTC and RH, this individual will provide consultative support to our homes, ensuring high-quality leadership and adherence to corporate guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of residence operations, including planning, organizing, and implementation.
- Recruit, orient, supervise, train, coach, and performance manage Executive Directors and leadership teams.
- Monitor quality in all homes to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines, policies, and standards.
- Work with Asset Management on the implementation of approved business plans.
- Support Executive Directors in budget development and financial reporting.
- Encourage positive communication and promote understanding of goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure physical plans, programs, and services meet Southbridge Care Homes standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local and provincial stakeholders.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Business or Healthcare.
- Previous experience as a senior executive in the LTC sector.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management staff, seniors, and their families, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders.
