The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team at Wajax Limited. As a Service Administrator, you will provide primary administrative support to our Service Operations team and secondary support to our Parts Operations team.

The Role
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, customers, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing and sending correspondence.
  • Open and process service workorders, including preparing estimates and obtaining purchase order numbers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Monitor shop job statuses and workflows for repair jobs, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, estimates, and schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
The Candidate
  • Education: College diploma or post-secondary education.
  • Work Experience: 2 years of related experience in service, parts, supply chain, or product support operations.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and/or truck & coach industry sectors is an asset.
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Environment: Work in a fast-paced office environment subject to frequent interruptions.
