Job Description

At Ninepenny Brewing, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager, Fire to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our taproom, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash and Credit Management: Oversee cash and credit transactions, including deposits, balances, and tip allocation to team members.
  • Taproom Scheduling: Schedule taproom staff and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate support and staffing levels.
  • Inventory Management: Track and monitor inventory levels, reorder supplies, and maintain a well-stocked taproom.
  • Food Preparation and Safety: Prepare food to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Customer Engagement and Event Planning: Develop and implement customer engagement strategies, plan events, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Beer Knowledge and Pairings: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our beer brands, flavors, profiles, and pairings.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
