Job Title: Research Analyst

At Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work on priority research files, assist with designated files, and contribute to the coordination of activities, workshops, and logistics. This role requires strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of Inuit communities and research landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and manage research activities on assigned projects.
  • Develop communications strategies and resources on key research issues.
  • Assist with report writing, proposal review, and committee work.
  • Represent ITK in meetings and conferences with multi-stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborate with IQ research initiatives and other ITK staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, combined with 1 year of related work experience.
  • Graduate of the Nunavut Sivuniksavut (NS) Program or an equivalent program of study, combined with 2 years of related work experience.

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of Inuit research landscapes and communities. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the development of ITK policy initiatives and research projects.
