Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Communications Strategist to join our team at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organization's messaging and branding.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to achieve our communications objectives, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve communications objectives, including internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including media, government officials, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Provide strategic counsel to our leadership team on communications matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications and incorporate this knowledge into our strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communications strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
