We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vault Associate to join our team at Home Depot of Canada Inc. As a Vault Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting and troubleshooting existing equipment in the store, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to all associates and respond promptly to requests from Cashiers and Head Cashiers
- Count and balance vault and key media from previous days' sales, as well as petty cash and count cashier floats
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including cashier overages and shortages, and inform management of any discrepancies
- Troubleshoot and support existing computer equipment in the store, ensuring seamless operations
- Collaborate with Sales Audit, banks, and armoured car service to resolve cheque collection issues and returned cheque inquiries
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience and a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
