Job Title: DevOps Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Specialist to join our team at MobileComm Professionals, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated processes to streamline software development, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
  • Manage and improve our CI/CD tooling to ensure seamless deployment and testing.
  • Maintain system security and compliance to protect our infrastructure and data.
  • Collaborate with our Agile team to identify areas for automation and implement solutions to improve our product and processes.
  • Provide technical support to our platform users and troubleshoot issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Minimum qualifications:
    • French-English bilingualism.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
    • Experience working in a CI/CD environment for executing automated tests, deployments, etc.
    • Experience with Docker and containers.
    • Experience deploying applications into Kubernetes.
    • Good programming and scripting skills.
    • Extensive expertise in test integration (unit testing, integration testing, TDD, BDD, etc.).
    • An enthusiastic spirit, a strong interest in innovation, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
    • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Hands-on development and operational experience (Gitlab-CI, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • Hands-on experience managing secrets (Vault).
  • Good knowledge of software development and API usage (Python).
  • Experience with databases – PostgreSQL, particularly in relation to Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience with feature flags (Launch Darkly).
  • Good knowledge of networks (firewall, DNS, GRCP, etc.).
