We are seeking an experienced Accident Benefits Lawyer to join our team. With over 35 years of experience, Cartel Agency Inc. is a leading employment agency servicing the legal community in Toronto.

Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year

About the Role

This senior role offers a unique opportunity for a highly skilled lawyer to take on a challenging position within our top client's Accident Benefits litigation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a sophisticated insurance litigation practice and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Handle complex casualty and property insurance defence files from beginning to end
  • Apear before all levels of court, including attending on motions and at trial
  • Manage accident benefits disputes, loss transfer, and priority dispute files
  • Prepare written and oral submissions as needed for the License Appeal Tribunal
  • Assess claims with a focus on controlling indemnity

The successful candidate will be a member of the Ontario Bar with proven experience synthesizing complex information and crafting clear and persuasive arguments. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
