Lakeland Animal Care Group seeks a responsible Hospital Porter to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and animals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas of the hospital are clean and tidy, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Restock linen and supplies as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting and vacuuming.
- Assist with the cleaning and disinfection of equipment and furniture.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Working Conditions
The Hospital Porter will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods. Regular breaks and a safe working environment are provided.
