We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospital Porter to join our team at Lakeland Animal Care Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closets and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Facilities Support: Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
