About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Porter to join our team at Lakeland Animal Care Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash containers, pick up debris, and handle lost and found items.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
