Kitchen Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at O/A Piper Arms Pub.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen operations to meet customer demand and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus, recipes, and cooking methods that meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, labor costs, and inventory levels to achieve budget targets.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, front-of-house staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
