About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Nouvelle Génération pour l’Entrepreneuriat et le Développement Durable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing visitors to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Process information required to provide customer service, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Operate the switchboard or telephone system, handling incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments, as well as maintaining work records and logs.
  • Provide support for newcomers and refugees, assisting with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and childcare.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, database software, and electronic mail.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work term is permanent, with 35 hours per week.
