About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Team Member to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken & TATERS. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to our high standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe kitchen operations.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all dishes are prepared to our high standards.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Work Schedule: The successful candidate will work a regular schedule of 30-35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the kitchen, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively in English.
