Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at CB Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties to the highest standards
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that all ingredients and supplies are available when needed
    • Minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction
    • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to help team members improve their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as culinary arts or hospitality management
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of success in menu planning, kitchen operations, and team leadership
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
