About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken & TATERS. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, inspect kitchens and food service areas, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Quality Control: Inspect food and kitchen areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
