Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Counsel to join our team at Zurich Canada. As a Claims Counsel, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving complex claims, ensuring that our customers receive fair and timely settlements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and resolve complex claims, including liability, property, and casualty claims
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support claims decisions
- Develop and implement effective claims strategies to minimize losses and maximize customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, adjusters, and lawyers, to ensure seamless claims processing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in claims management or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
