Job Title: Healthcare Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol interior and exterior of facilities to prevent unauthorized entry and respond to incidents in a composed manner.
  • Monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, and additional breaches of security.
  • Use two-way radios and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Monitor situations, cameras, property, and events to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and patients to provide information and resolve issues.
  • Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful interactions.
  • Monitor and screen visitors and clients in a professional manner to grant access to the facility.
What You Will Do:

As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will work on assigned shifts, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to code emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.

In this role, it is essential that you are able to stand and walk for long periods of time. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to think quickly on your feet and defuse difficult situations.
