Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

Accelerate360 is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Kelowna. As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, credits, and payments, as well as reconciling accounts and communicating with vendors in a timely and efficient manner.

About the Role

This is a part-time position (20-30 hours/week) that requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and have a high degree of personal accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices and credits in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare adjustments for discrepancies and seek authorization
  • Support month-end processes and identify efficiencies in the reconciliation and reporting process
