About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES AND SALADS. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage our inventory to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to management on how to improve our operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to train and develop staff
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and will be expected to lift up to 25 pounds.
