Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES AND SALADS. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, including budget and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are prepared to the highest standard
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting the needs of all employees
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
