Job Summary for Data Engineer:
Epitec Inc is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data pipelines using GCP data analytics stacks (Big Query, DataFlow, CloudSQL, DBT, CloudRun, Cloud Schedule etc.)
- Design and implement data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI etc.) to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and develop solutions to improve data accuracy and reliability
- Work in an agile product development environment, including stand-up meetings, regular sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with GCP data analytics stacks and data visualization tools
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C#
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
