Job Title: Data Engineer for AI Value Alignment
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd. in the role of Data Engineer for AI Value Alignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a robust value framework and benchmarks to assess the alignment of Large Language Models (LLMs) with human values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive value framework and benchmarks to evaluate the alignment of LLMs with human values.
- Conduct thorough literature reviews to identify and collect open-source test data sets for LLMs.
- Analyze construction strategies for benchmarks and evaluate the latest advancements in value alignment research.
- Generate and curate test data for value alignment in English corpora using template construction, prompt engineering, and other technical methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into ongoing projects and improve AI systems.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Programs, Cognitive Science, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong literature retrieval and summarization skills.
- Prior experience in data processing and generation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with training or fine-tuning large language models is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
