Job Title: Senior Data Science Engineer

At Société Financière Manuvie, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering AI/Advanced Analytics solutions in cloud-based production environments to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance on data and AI/ML solution design and standard methodologies to leadership and the broader advanced analytics group.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions in cloud environments, integrating them with enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Lead the implementation of MLOps, DevOps toolchains, and Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing using Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional distributed teams to identify and prioritize practical, high-impact insights across various core business areas.
  • Present findings, share insights, and make recommendations that impact sales, communicating results in written, oral, and presentation formats.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, etc.).
  • Advanced experience with PowerBI, Salesforce, MLFlow, GitHub (ideally with co-pilot).
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., AWS, AzureML, Databricks), containerization, and analytics libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib).
  • Experience with developing APIs or web application development.
  • Strong sense of ownership and superb problem-solving capability.
