Psychiatric Nurse Leader

At Alberta Health Services, we are committed to delivering exceptional mental health care to patients in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment. Our Emergency Mental Health Team provides comprehensive addiction and mental health assessment, short-term intervention, and treatment.
The Registered Psychiatric Nurse/Registered Nurse provides holistic care for adult patients with complex mental illnesses, adhering to AHS Addiction & Mental Health Principles of Care and CRNA/CRPNA standards. As a member of the inter-professional team, the RN/RPN is responsible for quality nursing care, completing assessments, plans, organizing treatment/therapeutic interventions, documenting, and evaluating interventions.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide safe, evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Complete assessments, plans, and organize treatment/therapeutic interventions
- Document and evaluate interventions
- Model professional leadership and provide decision-making support within the inter-professional team
