About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Casual Food Service Supervisor to join our team at one of our long term care facilities in Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your leadership skills and passion for food service to deliver outstanding results and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, including managing staff, inventory, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing and coordinating frontline employee activities to ensure seamless execution of food production and service
- Maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective business strategies
- Ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting of food and labor costs

Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in managing diverse teams within a hospital or LTC environment
- Food and Nutrition diploma and active food safety training certificate
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and train employees
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to interpret financial information related to food and inventory
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
- Flexible working hours required
