We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Transportation Operations team at Daadir Transportation Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve business objectives.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate risks to the business.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transportation.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Windows.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and manage a large workload. A criminal record check will be required for this position.
