Oncology Nurse Specialist

CancerCare Manitoba is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional cancer care services. As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing holistic cancer care to patients in the ambulatory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and intervene in the care of patients with various types of cancer
- Coordinate care and provide education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Knowledge of the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics and the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
- Proficient in computer software and applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Nursing degree
- Three years of experience in medical/surgical or ambulatory care
- Knowledge and experience in oncology
