Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead its Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Partnerships team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain management across the organization and its partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead the development of partnerships with vendors and suppliers to drive business growth and improve service delivery
  • Oversee the management of contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and optimal value
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Provide leadership and direction to teams responsible for procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations
Requirements
  • 10-12 years of experience in senior management or leadership roles in large multi-site organizations
  • Extensive knowledge of private industry best practices and BC healthcare industry
  • Superior knowledge of strategic sourcing and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
