Principal Technical Program Manager, Amazon Flex, Last Mile

At Amazon, we're revolutionizing the way we deliver to our customers. Our goal is to exceed their expectations by ensuring their orders are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. To achieve this, we're constantly innovating and introducing pioneering new logistics products and services, like Amazon Flex. With Amazon Flex, individuals can be their own boss while earning up to $25 or more delivering ultra-fast Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon.com orders. We operate globally and are rapidly expanding into new products from groceries (including Whole Foods) to big-screen TVs in an increasingly complex transportation network. Flex also operates Amazon's only physical retail footprint with grocery stores and Amazon Lockers.
Join Our Team of Innovators
We're looking for a talented Principal TPM who will own and shape the future of our Flex systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well, and staying connected to the details. You'll deliver results despite working in an ambiguous environment, with a strong bias for action and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. You'll define strategy and build and execute road maps for the programs you own, ensuring overall coordination, quality, and productivity. You'll be the primary point of contact for worldwide stakeholders of programs that you run.
A Day in the Life
As a Principal TPM at Amazon, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex technology projects, managing programs across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules. You'll engage with, service, and provide a truly innovative experience to both customers and our delivery providers. Our ability to innovate and expand the number of delivery providers and customer product offerings has become more critical as we continue to grow. Requirements
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
