Principal Technical Program Manager, Amazon Flex, Last Mile

At Amazon, we're revolutionizing the way we deliver to our customers. Our goal is to exceed their expectations by ensuring their orders are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. To achieve this, we're constantly innovating and introducing pioneering new logistics products and services, like Amazon Flex. With Flex, individuals can be their own boss while earning up to $25 or more delivering ultra-fast Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon.com orders. We operate globally and are rapidly expanding into new products from groceries to big-screen TVs in an increasingly complex transportation network. Flex also operates Amazon's only physical retail footprint with grocery stores and Amazon Lockers.
Join Our Team of InnovatorsWe're looking for a talented Principal TPM to own and shape the future of our Flex systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well, and staying connected to the details. You'll deliver results despite working in an ambiguous environment, with a strong bias for action and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. You'll define strategy, build and execute roadmaps for the programs you own, and be the primary point of contact for worldwide stakeholders.
What You'll Do- Develop and implement technical strategies to drive innovation and growth in our Flex systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and execute roadmaps for our programs
- Own and manage the technical aspects of our Flex systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to our teams, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to drive innovation and growth in our Flex systems
We're looking for a talented and experienced technical program manager who is passionate about innovation and growth. You'll have a strong background in technical product or program management, with experience working directly with engineering teams. You'll be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and have a proven track record of delivering results in an ambiguous environment.
