Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

About the Role:

Gentek, a leading manufacturer and distributor of exterior home improvement products, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Central region (Ontario and Winnipeg). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and achieving sales targets through direct management of a team of outside Sales Representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, staying connected to the market and ready to handle escalated issues.
  • Access, understand, and leverage data efficiently (Salesforce and BAP) to take appropriate action and revise priorities/activities with your team.
  • Effectively communicate opportunities/challenges with your sales team and with company leaders and other functional area leaders on the management team.
  • Directly manage Sales Reps to ensure alignment in strategy and action that supports sales targets.
  • Establish individual performance goals for Reps related to sales priorities and skill development.
  • Coach and enable Sales Reps by acting as a mentor and leader, providing positive and productive communications.

Qualifications:

  • Track record of sales success and experience as a Sales Manager.
  • Valid G-class license required.
  • Deep working knowledge and application of full sales cycle activities.
  • Building products experience.
  • Proficient in use of Salesforce.
  • Post-secondary education – preferably business or management related.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills required for internal and external contacts.
