Food Services Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Food Services Operations Supervisor to join our team at Queen's pizza and wings. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and overall quality of service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure optimal coverage and minimize waste.
  • Supervise staff to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, workplace policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and maximize resource utilization.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible deals on food and other supplies.
  • Lead and instruct staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
  • Order stock to ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment to protect the health and well-being of staff and customers.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and practices of staff to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.

Work Environment:
