Bus Manufacturing Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our New Flyer team at CB Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the direct supervision, coordination, and performance of assigned engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead assigned projects with focus on scope and requirements definition, risk management, reporting, coordinating key project activities, progress tracking, change management, testing and validation coordination, and budget adherence.
- Project Execution: Ensure all project elements are completed as planned, and prepare data and create technical and financial reports on project status.
- Communication and Collaboration: Establish effective communication, cooperation, and information flow with other Engineering Groups and departments for project coordination and execution.
- Engineering Support: Provide engineering support to Sales, Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, and other departments as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma, or equivalent.
- Registration: Registered (or eligible to be registered) as a Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist.
- Experience: Five or more years of design-related experience in a manufacturing environment, with previous leadership or Project Management experience required.
- Skills: Strong time-management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and advanced problem-solving skills using creativity, critical thinking, and reasoning.
